DAAE Studio is where fashion and functionality meet, making sure you’re cool and comfortable whether you’re strolling around the city or having fun with your friends at the beach.
DAAE Studio is a female driven brand, inspired by all the colorful and strong women out there. DAAE Studio is for the preppy, the funny bone, the urban hipster and for the clean and collected. The brand ranges from beachwear, tees and dresses to finer wool garments and puffer jackets – all in joyful colors and prints. DAAE Studio love diversity, and size ranges from XS to XXL.
DAAE Studio was founded in Oslo in 2022 by famous fashion designer Fam Irvoll and former world champion in snowboard and now tv-personality, Helene Olafsen.
Fam brings creativity and design while Helene brings functionality and a wide audience. Together they create fun, colorful and diverse fashion to all strong women out there!
FAM IRVOLL
Fam is a Norwegian fashion designer known for her playful and colorful designs. Fam studied fashion design, illustration and knitting at the Esmod International Fashion University, Oslo and Central Saint Martins, London.
She has worked with designers like Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, and Fam’s designs have been worn by numerous celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Beyonce. Fam’s work has been featured in publications such as Vouge Italia, ELLE and Harper’s BAZAAR, and she has several times showcased her designs at fashion weeks in Oslo, London and Riga.
Through her innovative and playful designs, Fam has achieved a dedicated following, and her advocacy for mental health awareness has made her an important voice for a more including and diverse society.
HELENE OLAFSEN
Helene Olafsen is a Norwegian former professional snowboarder who has made a name for herself in both the Olympic and X Games arenas. She started snowboarding at a young age and in 2010, at the age of just 20, Helene won a bronze medal in women's cross event in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She also won gold in the same event at the X Games that year, cementing her status as one of the top snowboarders in the world.
Off the snow, Helene has also made a name for herself as a television host and presenter. She has co-hosted several seasons of the Norwegian version of "Dancing with The Stars" and the Norwegian talk show “Senkveld”.
Helene’s success in both snowboarding and broadcasting has made her a role model for young people in Norway and around the world.
SUSTAINABILITY
DAAE Studio aims to provide high quality at all stages, always with the focus on a more sustainable production and end product. The brand uses materials from recycled plastic to dead stock, and all designs are made in smaller quantities to prevent waste, overproduction and overconsumption. As part of DAAE Studio’s sustainability strategy, the brand is now working on a deposit system for inhouse upcycling of used products.
As DAAE Studio enters partnership with Story House Egmont, the brand is committed to Egmont's Go Greener fast program, pursuing a low-carbon economy and a better planet for future generations.
